Ellenberg & Partners LLP was formed by Michael A. Ellenberg and originally known as Ellenberg & Hutson, LLP, which was established in 1989. Suzanne Rapisarda became a partner in January 2005 and David Gannon became a partner in January 2007. Dawn Bristol became a partner in August 2008. The firm consists of four partners and three associates and has been awarded an AV rating by Martindale-Hubbell.

 

The firm's practice is focused on the defense of professionals, including physicians and hospitals, dentists, nurses, physicians’ assistants, medical and dental clinics, the representation of defendants under policies of directors and officers liability, professional misconduct defense, environmental liability, premises liability, as well as insurance coverage and regulation and appellate practice.

 

In addition to professional and general negligence cases, the firm has represented a number of hospitals in general premises liability matters, as well as other entities, including domestic and international insurance companies and their insureds.

 

The firm also focuses on the defense of construction claims and accidents, products liability, general liability, employment and labor, property damage and casualty actions.

 

Having practiced at firms of all different sizes before starting Ellenberg & Partners LLP, it was Mr. Ellenberg’s goal to create a firm that would offer clients the best of both worlds: the professionalism, quality, and responsiveness of a large firm and the familiarity and savings of a small firm.
